last week, we went to big sur for our one year anniversary. there was no reception where we were staying, so it was so great to just get away from everything and spend some quality time together. we celebrated each other and how much we’ve grown during our first year of marriage. we can’t wait for all that this next year has to offer and see how much more we grow within this next year, both as individuals and as a couple. we’re so thankful for each other, and the fact that we are able to live this life of love side by side. here are a few images of our trip, they honestly don’t do big sur any justice!

time is flying by, but we’re loving every minute of it. so much has happened in this past year,
and we’re looking forward for all that this next year has to offer. now we’re off to big sur to celebrate.

so, what was only suppose to be a week’s inspiration in december, ended up finding it’s way into the new year. it’s getting me through january, and most likely, it’s going to roll into next month as well. i’ve been listening to solange non-stop, and she just keeps getting better and better! she’s definitely been keeping my workflow flowing as of late. this song in particular is my fave. not just her singing, not just the beat, but her style & that hair! if you haven’t seen this video yet, jump to the bottom and make your day that much more better. enjoy.
